Pumps designed for hygienic applications
Our 4:1 and 5:1 ratio hygienic transfer pumps comply with USDA,
3A and PDA requirements and standards for design, construction materials
and ease of maintenance.
Hygienic, quick release clamps are included
with the pumps. Metal parts that come into contact with the fluid
are 316 Stainless Steel and can be dismantled without tools. The
pumps are suitable for use with products up to 50,000 centipoise
and are usually used for emptying pails and drums. Standard pump assemblies
Pumps can be mounted on a twin post ram and these assemblies can
pump fluids with a viscosity up to 100,000 centipoise. Another option
is to mount the pumps on an elevator.
Customised assemblies
FES can supply systems to suit a customer's requirements.
Metering
The 5:1 pump can easily be adapted for use in metering systems
with an accuracy up to 2%. Ask FES about automatic air-operated
metering systems that include customised pump controllers.
FES spray and dispense valves
FES can supply their own hygienic, 316 Stainless Steel valve which
has been specially designed for use with food, pharmaceuticals and
